Ben Howard's Kingdom

This week I discovered the soul-soothing style of 25 year-old singer songwriter Ben Howard. Already causing a stir across the UK and Europe, this young Brit boasts an enviable command of the guitar, delicate lyrics and a voice like honey. Last year Island Records introduced Howard's debut album Every Kingdom to the world saying: "He brings freshness to the form, gives it lustre, making it all seem brand new even as his songs have about them a quality of wisdom and a rootsy authenticity as old as the hills."

And they were right. Every Kingdom is all I need.
