Neon Dreams

I absolutely love neon wall art, I always have. Tracey Emin's works are sometimes funny, sometimes sad, always evocative. No wonder British Prime Minister David Cameron has put one up at Number 10.

The contrast of the neon statement and the environment it is placed in challenges conventional semiotics and makes for vast interpretations. More from artists Olivia Steele and Emin.

Chanel Cruise Collection 2013

The Chanel Cruise Collection showed at Versailles on Monday evening. Lagerfeld presented distinct eighteenth-century details with a casual twenty-first-century twist. My only reservation? The hair. Apparently that's one place the past and present should not collide.
